About Heating System

It hasn’t yet started to snow yet in Sapporo, but it is indeed getting colder! I just wanted to share a bit about the heating system in Blossom today.

Blossom uses central heating to provide a comfortable environment throughout the house. Each room has adjustable panel heaters, and there are two large ones in the living/dining room, pictured below.

Utility fees are split between residents, making them much more affordable than living alone. Generally these work out to about 3,000 yen per person, per month in the summer. In the winter, you’re looking at around 8,000-10,000 including the heating. This estimate is based on past history and gas prices. If you’re researching places to stay and they won’t give estimated numbers like this, be careful! Please also note that living alone in Japan ends up requiring various setup fees, installation fees, and monthly minimums as well. But in Blossom you’re sharing those with many others, bringing down the monthly price.

Please consider living together with us here at Blossom!♡ Please don’t hesitate to get in touch using the inquiry form below for more details. We’re happy to show you the house any time too!
